This website is a podium for disseminating knowledge in an objective manner and sparking discussions on various important issues that affect every one of us. Most information is presented in a static manner, meaning that it doesn’t change. An article is written and published and a lecture is recorded and distributed. However, with the development of more effective means of communication we can make the process more dynamic and cooperative. If people have questions or comments about an article or a lecture then, by sharing those thoughts, the article can be updated and the lecture (if given again) can be revised. This will improve both the quality of information and its delivery. Please participate in this beneficial process by leaving your comments.
assalaamu alaykum ustaadh,
May Allah bless you for learning and teaching. I’ll be reading your weblog periodically hoping to read something interesting and gain some knowledge.
I agree with the sister, “lighten up” literally on the site. Also, bigger font please!.
The template functionality of this weblog is very limited. If anyone knows of a more customizable blogging tool then please let me know.
Assalamu alaikum Brother Mustafa Umar:
Several of your fellow colleagues recommended your services for a position with our center in the US. Can you please provide me with the best means to communicate with you?
FYI – we are the MAS Center in Charlotte, NC. Relatively small chapter with much potential insha’Allah. We recently purchased a facility to accommodate the city’s needs and require an imam/director who is trained in Shariah, a youthful spirit and speaks English (Arabic preferrable).

Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullah
Your website is really eye-opening, JazakumAllah khair and may Allah swt increase you and us all in knowledge.
I have a query perhaps that I shouldve raised in the last lecture you gave at UCI when you said that one should think objectively..but how, as humans, can we think objectively?
Aren’t our experiences filtered through our own perceptions? And from this can we say that we experience the objective in a subjective manner?
So if you would please elaborate on your definition of objective, I would really appreciate it inshaAllah.
ws wr,
Thank you for the comments. What I meant by objectively was “more objectively”. Of course you are right, we experience the objective in a subjective manner, since we are human. By objective, I meant being more open minded and willing to understand other beliefs.
